My Week

I've been out of commission since last Friday, so I will now update (bore, whichever you prefer) you on All the details of last week.
Friday I awoke at 5:30 am having to pee so bad - which hasn't happened since I was pregnant. I went, came back to bed and was put to sleep by the running toilet. 10 am my family finally starts to roll out of bed. I walk out of our room and my feet are suddenly covered in water. WHAT THE @#$%! I'm furious. I start snapping at no one in particular about how this house is so freakin old and disgusting, our plumbing is falling apart and we're all going to die of mold inhalation!! I tell Josh he better call his dad to get someone over here to fix this mess ASAP! I carry on with my day trying not to walk on the carpet because it's just making a bigger mess. The plumber calls at 2 just as I'm about to go for a walk with Ty. Oh good! So I turn around and just walk around the house, suddenly I hear an eery sound, almost like water spraying. I walk over to the faucet, and what do you know, the hose has been on all night! I then replay the previous day in my head, I washed the car and watered our new garden and then just threw the hose in the bushes!! IDIOT! I can feel my face turn scarlet, because now I have to face the plumber! He pulls up, I tell him what happened, he does fix the running toilet, and leaves. I then proceed to wet-vac the water - 15 gallons later, the hose won't suck anymore and the level of water is bearable, so I turn 2 lousy fans on and they are still blowing as I write, 10 days later. Our room is dry, the hall is 90% and Ty's room about 75%. We had to end on a happy note so we went to a Layton football game. Here's our little man.

Saturday turned out to be a much happier day. Ashley received her endowment. She is so beautiful and wonderful and I am so happy for her. When we came out of the temple at 7:30pm the sky was so amazing, with the deepest blue rain and thunder clouds and the most orange sunset barely peeking through.
Monday came around and I thought I had a UTI, (yuck and too much detail I know) and then I got to thinking I wonder if I'm pregnant, I took a test, negative, and then I got to thinking should we try now or wait until December. Josh and I decided to pray about it and I threw my birth control away!!
Tuesday...Jenni was so nice to take our family pictures and Ty's 6 month pics. I have only seen a few and I have the cutest baby boy ever! I will post those when I finally get over to Jenni's. Thank you thank you!!
Wednesday began a little slow, my body was aching so bad and I had the chills. Ty and I took lots of naps and layed in front of the tv most of the day, Thursday was more of the same until I went to bed. I began shivering so bad, so I drug my body upstairs to Josh and told him to turn on the heater. He wrapped me up in a blanket, turned the heater on full blast and put the heating pad under me. For 20 minutes I was convulsing so bad, I couldn't concentrate on anything, I was so thirsty but water was so gross. Josh wanted to take me to the hospital, but the thought of having to get up was unbearable. He and Jason gave me a blessing instead and the shaking stopped. I was calm enough to lay in bed somewhat peaceful. Thank goodness for those blessings! I have been a little distant to Ty this week because I don't want him getting sick. Josh would lay him on his stomach and pat his bum for him to fall asleep and every once in a while he would lift up his head, look around until he found me, smile and then lay back down. What an angel to look out for his mommy!
Saturday was Ashley, Eric and Bostyn's Sealing day. Such a happy day for my best friend and her family. Love you guys!
(quick apology to anyone who thought I was being a little mean, I was a little under the weather and a bit out of it, but I love you)
So yesterday, the 28th was my birthday. I am now 27! Hard to believe. I have learned to look at my body as instrumental instead of ornamental, which is hard for me, but I look at Ty and can't believe with the help of my body I made this perfect person. So I have no reason to bash it. I also started a new book 'Simple Abundance' which is helping me discover myself. To be grateful for all I have and to value my opinion. I am thankful to be married to Josh, to be a mother to Ty. I have a wonderful family and many caring friends. I am surrounded by beauty and have a testimony of my Saviour.
Boo-bye I'm off to the Dr.
