fall days

What a perfect, cozy Saturday! I enjoy the first few dark days of fall so much. I can hear the rain patter on the dry leaves outside our bedroom window, the wind is rattling the window pane, Ty is snuggled up in his bed for a nice nap and I think I'll do the same. I remember growing up having awesome thunder storms. I would wrap up in a blanket and sit on the heater under a small table while I read a book. The smell of hot cocoa or apple cider. The yummy smells of the coming holiday. Chocolate, spice, pine... I hope we have a thunder storm today, they make me so excited for the Holidays, I know they come and go so fast, but it's usually perfect timing since we get restless with the seasons. Mother Nature must know this. I feel lucky to have 4 seasons, to renew my goals and declutter and just feel inspired.

Last night we went to a Layton football game and I bundled Ty up so good, luckily he had some thermals. They are hilarious...red, quite tight on my muscle man, and I think we'll use them for his Halloween costume - the devil!! I just need a tail and some horns and he'll be the cutest devil around.
