my girl

I won't comment much about the St. George Marathon, only that I'm so proud of Ash for accomplishing her goal. I'm not gonna lie, I was a little emotional watching all those people cross that finish line. You're amazing! When someone was stumbling toward there goal, the whole crowd would start cheering to give them that extra push. I need that crowd once in a while, to push me forward, to remember what I'm doing and why I'm here...good thing I have all you folks. I couldn't make it without you. It was pretty funny when we were looking out for Ash, I had a feeling I wouldn't recognize her, and sure enough all of a sudden mom was on my back yelling oh! ash! oh! oh! I'm like 'what's goin on?' and by the time I got my camera out, she was long gone. So anyway, I love you and am so proud of you! We stopped by g'ma and g'pa Schmidt's, it was wonderful to see them, I haven't seen them since our wedding!! Coming home was a bit of a nightmare (Ash and Cristelle can relate to my screaming baby) we had to stuff licorice in Ty's mouth and 2 hours out, I had to lay down with him in the back seat. Don't tell a soul! It was the only way to keep mom and dad sane!
I have missed my Josh so much. I always thought I was so independent, but the more I'm with Josh, the more I need him! He's been hunting elk and is due back tonight, hopefully!! I've been staying at mom and dad's this weekend, because my house is scary without my boo! Mom and I went pumpkin shopping, I picked up some really warty one's...oooh spooky!
I'm loving the fall!! Everything is so fresh and exciting, especially now with Ty experiencing it all for the first time. Sure love my boys!!

How great that you were able to go support Ashely, what an achievement for her. I miss my Elk hunter too, I try to be supportive and excited about it each year, but really, I hate it when he goes! Oh well, guess it's good for them to get their "guy time"!

Thanks elle for getting a picture of me bum!! I was so happy to see you there at the finish line, it meant so much to have my best buddy there. I love Ty, I love his passion for life :) The licorice face is adorable.
