I can wait...

We had a little visitor at our house for the weekend. Her name is Pepper and she is a Blue Healer puppy! Wow, was Ty excited. He loves doggies, but to have one that actually stayed at our house was a treat indeed. Ty helped with feeding by putting one bit of food in the kennel at a time, he tested the drinking water, and it was satisfactory,
he made sure Pepper's accommodations were sufficient, he walked the dog to go potty, but got dragged instead and didn't let go of the rope until he fell down, (The concerned look was priceless). He got over it quickly and then thought it was pretty darn funny when Pepper jumped up on him and he would fall over. They were about the same height so both hands and paws reached the exact place on the counter, investigating the surface. Emmett thought it was surprising to be getting licks in the face all the time. The funniest and grossest part of our adventure was when Ty came over to me with hand outstretched and said 'poo', uh-oh, where did you get that! I thought he was diggin in his diaper, but then the smell hit me and unfortunately Pepper had an accident. Oh well, puppies are so fun, but lots of work, with all the chewin' and jumpin'. I would love to get a dog eventually for the boys, but I'm in no rush...
