It's been years since I've stayed in Yellowstone! When I was younger, we would stay at our cousins cabin just outside of Yellowstone in the woods. There was such a unique feeling when we would stay there. It's like a mysterious haunting feeling. I always felt like I was being watched by some animal when we would go out to the water pump or swing on the rope swing, go hiking or biking. But it was a thrill and I've missed it, so I was so happy we were going there this year. We stayed in Grant Village. It was so relaxing and fun. The boys were seriously in heaven.
They had all there cousins and Tons of dirt, what could be better. We were able to see the Grand Canyon of Yellowstone -
so pretty and looking over the edge gave my bum a tickle(sorry everyone, ash knows what I mean). We also saw the hot pots, those are so fascinating.
I'm in awe of all the things that God has created. Our last day, we heard some gun shots and went running to the lake to see an adolescent bear swimming across the lake in a hurry. Yikes! The rangers assured us we were fine, so we felt somewhat okay about staying in our tent. The next week someone was eaten! No more tents for me!
We were able to go fishing, biking, walking and just enjoy the logdepole pines.
I forgot we had shaved Ty's head, so he was our little cancer patient. Love my beautiful family.
