We took a little drive up to Cache Valley today. It's been so smoggy and gross in the valley, but as we passed over Sardine we met the clearest blue sky. One of my good memories of Logan is walking to school in the blustery cold at 6:30, the sun just rising setting the sky an ethereal purple-orange and the trees had the most beautiful crystallized look. Like those rock candy sticks from Disneyland. Perfect snow crystals outlining each and every branch and twig. A perfect silhouette against a blue sky or grouped together just begging me to go in and build a fort. I can't even describe how beautiful it was today. We drove up to Cove where we looked at 40 acres of the most serene landscape. It was gorgeous in the dead of winter, I can only pretend to imagine the rest of the year. 15 acres of alfalfa, and 25 more of woodland with a small creek running through it. A little abode with mountain access. Just think of the possibilities.  4-wheeling, snow-mobiling, sledding, exploring, running, horse-back riding, relaxing. I don't need neighbors:) and family would only be a couple hours away - actually that's too far away. So, they can all move up there, since there would be no lack of space. This is the alfalfa field and you can see how amazing it would be to wake up to this everyday.
