Another fun day at school today. We reviewed A thru M, 1 thru 7, and our shapes and colors. Oh they're so smart!! Today our focus was on monsters and maps. We read 'There's a Monster in my Backpack' and 'Who's you're favorite monster mama?' Everyone got to make a monster with cut out shapes and markers. We had monsters with glasses, monsters with mustaches, with 5 eyes, with 2 mouths, with tons of eyelashes. So cute. We tossed a bean bag into a monster mouth. I drew a silly monster on a poster board and cut out it's huge mouth.

Then for maps I introduced them to a pirate's treasure map, the US of A, Utah and I drew a neighborhood map, where they could identify friends houses as well as the hospital, library, park, etc. The best part by far was the running around like crazies in the mortuary!
