'I'm going to knife you in half', 'I'll cut you're head off', 'I'll kick you in the face', are common phrases around these parts. And if I act startled or scared, they continue 'Don't worry I'm a super hero!'  ?   It's a whole new world raising boys. Their energy and loudness takes me by surprise sometimes, and I have to sit back and giggle at their intensity and determination.

Oh boy!

I decided to turn an oak, hand-me-down coffee table into a bench coffee table. I painted it white to go with my new grey walls and picked out a super cute fabric and bronze nail heads. Oh it was going to be Amazing!! But boo hiss, it's a disaster and I don't even want to finish. I didn't pull the foam and fabric tight enough so it's flopping over the sides and nail heads are extremely difficult to get even. Mine are all over the place. I'm sure it will grow on me, and will look ok with a new couch but I was so disappointed with my efforts. I should have called my mother!!
